Amherst College is seeking an experienced professional to serve as the Associate Director of Housing & Operations. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the high level of service and support that our students expect from our residential community. Some of the key responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as member of the Office of Community Living team
- Collaborate with the Department of Facilities and Campus Operations teams to maintain daily operations of our 35 residence halls
- Assess student housing trends and benchmarks information against peer institutions
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the student experience in the residence halls
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Master's degree in Business, Higher Education, Student Development, or a related field, and at least 3-5 years of experience in college residential living environments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential.
