We are looking for someone who is forward-thinking to help us strive towards everyday excellence while focusing on customer devotion and personal impact to ensure we are acting responsibly in everything we do.

We are seeking a visionary and results-oriented General Manager to lead our business unit dedicated to Hearing Aid Benefit Administration in the USA making hearing aids affordable to American through their health insurance (commercial, Medicare Advantage, discount plans). This role is pivotal in driving growth by strengthening our relationship with our current health plan partners, adding new clients, building a compelling value proposition and developing a strong providers network, starting from our Miracle-Ear network. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: 
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to establish and grow Amplifon Hearing Health Care business.
  • Set and achieve key performance metrics for the business unit, including revenue growth, market share, and customer satisfaction. 


  • Partnership Development: 
  • Govern and steer our contractual strategy with insurance providers to ensure competitive and favorable terms for hearing aid coverage. 
  • Lead top to top conversation/negotiations with key top players in the insurance industry.
  • Build and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with key stakeholders in the insurance industry. 


  • Operational Oversight: 
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the business unit, ensuring seamless collaboration across internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, product development, and customer service). 
  • Ensure a healthy and growing network of providers across the territories, and ensures implementation of our superior customer experience and audiological excellence protocols. 
  • Identify and address market opportunities and challenges, adapting strategies as needed. 


  • Compliance and Regulation: 
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in the insurance and healthcare sectors. 
  • Engage the entire Amplifon organization to maintain key certifications for the business, such as NCQA, HiTrust, Benchmark Portal Call Center Excellent, etc.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities. 


  • Team Leadership: 
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing team to support the business unit’s objectives. 
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration within the unit. 
  • Lead by example, embodying our Company Leadership skills and Values. 


Qualifications in this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field (MBA preferred). 
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in the insurance, healthcare, or medical devices industry. 
  • Proven track record of developing and managing successful partnerships with insurance providers. 
  • Strong understanding of insurance processes, reimbursement models, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve ambitious goals.

Compensation (MN positions only) - Based on qualifications we anticipate the hiring range will be: $300,000-$360,000. Additional short-term and long-term incentives may also be applicable.
