Location: 23 Mile, Shelby Township
Pay Rate: $17.00/hour
Shifts Available:
1st Shift: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM (Overtime as needed)
2nd Shift: 4:00 PM 12:00 AM (Overtime as needed)
We are seeking experienced Cell Technicians with 2-3 years of experience in automotive injection molding and assembly automation. As a Cell Tech, you will monitor plastics injection molding presses in a fast-paced team environment, ensuring quality production while maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
Key Responsibilities:Production Monitoring: Oversee work cells and auxiliary equipment, ensuring smooth operations.
Quality Control: Perform visual inspections, final audits, and scrap entry to maintain product quality.
Packaging & Labeling: Properly label, package, and handle plastic products as per instructions.
Work Cell Maintenance: Keep workstations clean and organized following 6S principles.
Print labels and assist with Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
Help verify first/last shot sheets and oversee machine assignments.
Support shift transitions by communicating key details to supervisors.
Scan finished goods to pallet labels.
Ability to follow instructions and maintain a safe work environment.
Basic computer skills and understanding of math & reading.
Prior experience in manufacturing or plastics industry preferred.
High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
Work may involve exposure to fumes, dust, and mist.
Safety glasses required when performing certain tasks.
Occasional presence on the manufacturing floor with minimal travel required.
Valid driver's license required.
