We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Federal Business Development Executive to spearhead growth initiatives within the Intelligence Community. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of cultivating relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving business growth within the federal sector, specifically in cybersecurity, AI/ML, and cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales efforts by acquiring new federal clients and expanding relationships with existing accounts.
- Present IT service solutions in both small and large group settings, showcasing expertise and professionalism.
- Take ownership of opportunities throughout the sales lifecycle, ensuring consistent progress and successful outcomes.
- Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries, providing exceptional service and follow-up.
- Acquire and integrate industry knowledge related to general trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Attend local and National Industry events and conferences
- Maintain organized and accurate records of daily activities, client interactions, and sales outcomes using CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar platforms.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in federal business development, with at least 5 years focused on the Intelligence Community.
- Proven track record of successfully capturing and managing contracts in cybersecurity, AI/ML, and cloud technologies.
- Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes, regulations, and contracting vehicles.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Active TS/SCI clearance (or eligibility to obtain one) preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
