Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute performance test strategies and plans based on system requirements.
- Develop and maintain performance testing scripts using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or similar.
- Identify performance bottlenecks, root causes, and propose solutions.
- Conduct load, stress, scalability, and endurance testing on web and enterprise applications.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define performance criteria and benchmarks.
- Analyze test results and generate detailed performance test reports.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure performance issues are resolved promptly.
- Monitor system performance in production environments and provide proactive recommendations.
- Stay updated with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in performance testing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in performance testing and engineering.
- Proficiency in performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or others.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail.
- Experience with APM tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic is a plus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance tests into automated workflows.
- Knowledge of system architectures, databases, and networking.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Shell scripting.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and API performance testing.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
