Responsibilities:
- Maintain and balance the general ledger
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Create and process payroll and tax filings
- Provide support during annual audits

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Associates Degree or higher
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation and financial statement preparation
- Familiarity with technical accounting procedures and regulations
