Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Shopper Marketing Manager to join our growing marketing team. This role will be integral in managing and executing all shopper marketing tactics, including both digital and in-store initiatives. The ideal candidate is a collaborative professional with a strong understanding of retailer-specific marketing strategies and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Reporting to the Director of Integrated Marketing, this role will work cross-functionally with retailers, internal teams, and external partners to develop and execute impactful go-to-market strategies. The Shopper Marketing Manager will also play a key role in measuring campaign success and optimizing performance for future initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Partner with the Director of Integrated Marketing to develop go-to-market strategies tailored to each retailer’s unique environment and shopper base for retail media, in-store and ecommerce campaigns.
- Supports annual budgeting process including analysis and key learnings from external and ROI calculations.
Campaign Execution & Management:
- Develop business objectives, manage execution and meet brand strategies of final Shopper Marketing plans including timelines, due dates, budget, and shopper experience
- Lead the day-to-day management of shopper marketing campaigns, collaborating with retailers, internal design teams, and external vendors to ensure campaigns are launched on time and align with brand objectives.
- Provide input on creative direction to ensure campaign assets resonate with shoppers and meet retailer guidelines.
Performance Measurement:
- Analyze post-campaign results and share actionable insights to optimize future shopper marketing strategies.
- Track ROI, shopper engagement, and other key metrics.
Retailer & Internal Collaboration:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners to align on joint business objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop impactful, retailer-specific creative assets that drive awareness and conversion.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 4-6 years of shopper marketing experience with a brand or agency, preferably within the CPG industry.
- Familiarity with retailer platforms and shopper insights tools with proven experience managing both digital and in-store marketing campaigns.
- Strong project management skills with a high attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with experience measuring campaign success and optimizing strategies.
- Provide a clear and thoughtful strategy with the ability to link the strategy to implementation.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, juggling multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in managing creative processes and providing feedback to internal and external partners.
- Ability to optimize executional tactics by striking balance between tried & true with emerging, innovative tactics

- This position is open for a hybrid work schedule of 3 days per week in our Chicago office and 2 days from home.
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
