Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time Litigation Paralegal to join our team on-site in Vernon, CT. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting attorneys with case preparation and management. Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing legal documents, conducting legal research, preparing pleadings and motions, and ensuring timely filings. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and manage legal documents and correspondence
- Conduct in-depth legal research and assist in case development
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other court filings
- Maintain case files and track deadlines to ensure compliance
- Collaborate closely with attorneys to support litigation efforts
Qualifications:
- Prior experience with legal document preparation, review, and legal research
- Strong proficiency in drafting pleadings and motions
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
