Personal Injury Department Case Manager Ad
We are seeking a Personal Injury Case Manager to join our Personal Injury Department here at Anchor Spine. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and at least two to three years’ experience in a Personal Injury Law Firm. Having knowledge of medical documentation and terminology is a plus. As a Personal Injury Case Manager, you will assist in the day-to-day management of our Personal Injury patients thru effective communication with their legal representation and accurate documentation throughout the case trajectory here during their treatment at Anchor Spine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with clients, patients, medical professionals, legal teams, and referral sources
- Experience in PI Case Management: Possess a strong understanding of Personal Injury Protection (PIP) benefits, coverage limits and legal proceedings to ensure patient is handled with care thru-out their treatment with us and limit gaps in care, ensuring a smooth treatment experience is had
- Collaborate closely with our other departments at Anchor Spine ensuring the proper information is relayed in a timely manner in relation to the care of our Personal Injury patients and in turn being able to explain care plans and treatment options to the patients’ legal representation
- Handle requests for medical records and ledgers as part of your dedicated case load
Qualifications:
- Associates degree or two – three years of Personal Injury Law Firm work experience
- In-depth knowledge of the PI Field with relative case management experience as in handling your own case load successfully
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information clearly
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate and organized documentation in regards to a personal injury case trajectory, pre-lit, lit and thru settlement
- Familiarity with all stages of a Personal Injury case and understands what is needed in order to assist the patients’ legal representative to push the case forward
