We are looking for seasonal grounds maintenance workers for a busy Marina.
Duties
- Supervise and ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
- Fabricate or repair parts as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field is a plus
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Strong knowledge of maintenance management principles and practices
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Ability to fabricate or repair parts using various tools and equipment
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Good communication skills
