Job Summary
A Logistics and Distribution Warehouse is looking for a Maintenance Worker is responsible for ensuring the functionality and safety of equipment, machinery, and buildings, and maintain assigned areas of the property and grounds. They perform regular inspections, troubleshoot issues, and carry out repairs to maintain optimal operations. Will clean and maintain assigned areas of the property and grounds. The role requires a deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
Duties
- Performs general plumbing, electrical, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) repairs to the facilities equipment and systems.
- Inspects equipment and systems to identify problems or issues.
- Address electrical, mechanical, or plumbing issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery, equipment, and systems to identify potential issues.
- Repair or replace faulty components, machinery parts, or systems.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure that all repairs and maintenance meet industry standards and safety regulations.
- Performs general cleaning tasks in the facility.
- Maintains inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
- Follow all OSHA Safety Procedures.
Experience
- Thorough knowledge of general plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repair.
- Proven experience in equipment repair and general maintenance.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing
- Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance.
- Ability to keep the property clean and orderly.
- Good interpersonal skills with polite and courteous demeanor toward staff, customers, clients, and visitors to the property.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
