Construction Worker

Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Construction Laborers. This role is essential in supporting various construction projects, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and safely. As a Construction Laborer, you will work alongside skilled tradespeople and contribute to the successful completion of construction sites.

Duties

• Assist in the preparation and cleanup of job sites, including removing debris and hazardous materials.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment necessary for construction projects.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely under the supervision of experienced personnel.
• Follow instructions from supervisors to carry out specific tasks on-site.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Help with the assembly and disassembly of scaffolding, barricades, and other temporary structures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure personal safety and the safety of others on-site.

Requirements

• Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and standing for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety guidelines.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Apprenticeship

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed
