Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. Duties
- Assist skilled tradespeople in performing their tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
- Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks and transport them to job sites.
- Prepare job sites by cleaning up debris and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Operate basic construction tools and machinery under supervision.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced workers.
