Team members in the Sales Coordinator role will be responsible for coordinating the clerical and administrative functions required in effective implementation of the administrative policies and procedures of the Sales Department.
Responsibilities:
- Routes incoming mail. Locates and attaches appropriate file to correspondence to be answered by manager or sales account executives.
- Answers, routes and screens incoming calls on the sales department switchboard line and all calls forwarded out of the voice mail system.
- Greets scheduled visitors and conducts to appropriate area or person. Coordinates and arranges meetings, prepares agendas, reserves, and prepares facilities.
- Prepares outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mail and faxes. Composes and types of routine correspondence.
- Arranges and coordinates travel schedules and reservations, as required.
- Conducts research, and compiles and types of statistical reports.
- Orders and maintains file systems and supplies and arranges for equipment maintenance. Makes copies of correspondence or other printed materials.
- Prepares quotes and proposals for Sales Department including entering quotes and job bookings into Access database.
- Works with salesperson to maintain and process job files which includes ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices.
- Maintains a safe work area and ensures compliance with safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
· Associates degree or equivalent, or one to three years’ experience and/or training
· Strong attention to detail
· Prior experience in the material handling industry preferred
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office
· Sales background preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
