Primary Objective Of The Position

The Administrative Assistant serves as a first point of contact for all visitors and employees in the organization. Essentially, this role is the face of the organization. This will include a wide variety of clerical and administrative duties for several departments as directed by a supervisor.

Major Areas Of Accountability

  • Professionally greet visitors and check them in/out of the organization.
  • Answer and route phone calls throughout the organization.
  • Monitor incoming emails to Accounts Payable inbox and response/forward as appropriate.
  • Aid in the Accounts Payable process to intake paperwork and scan the documents within the system.
  • Support customer or client visits including but not limited to order lunch/dinner, preparing meetings rooms, and supporting internal team members while clients/customers are on-site.
  • Completing office administrative duties such as scanning, filing, and digitally attaching documents to records.
  • Performs a wide variety of clerical activities including general office responsibilities, data entry, and other tasks to ensure the success of all upstream processes.
  • Supports the Human Resources Department.
  • Provides administrative support for the Leadership Team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENTRY:

  • High school education, or equivalent.
  • Clerical and administrative skill level gained from at least 3-5 years of related experience, preferred.
  • Proficient within Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.
  • Detail oriented with strong planning and monitoring skills.
  • Ability to relate well to others and gain the respect of employees.
  • Working knowledge of computers, general office equipment and their functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple and varied projects.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Displays a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Ability to work independently.

Physical Requirements

Anderson Dahlen fosters a manufacturing type environment. This position will primarily involve operating a computer at a desk in an office environment.
