Anderson Industrial Engines Co., Inc. is seeking a full time Accounts Payable Specialist for our Omaha, NE office. The AP Specialist is responsible for processing supplier invoices and must understand the relationship of all accounts payable transactions with the general ledger. It is essential that they also have ability to communicate effectively with various levels throughout the organization. Our work environment requires someone with excellent time management and organizational skills.

Job Responsibilities
- Enter supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Regularly review supplier statements to ensure accounts are current and identify outstanding items
- Prioritize and organize the workload in order to take advantage of discounts and pay suppliers in a timely manner
- Review and verify non-purchase order General Ledger accounts
- Conduct a weekly check run
- Facilitate new vendor onboarding and validate W-9 accuracy
- Collect Certificate of Insurance certificates as necessary
- Audit the Received not Invoiced report
- Assist in completing month-end AP processing
Qualifications
- Attention to detail
- Time management and confidentiality - Ability to handle sensitive financial information
- Familiarity with basic accounts payable and accounting principals
- Excellent communication skills and professionalism

- Self-motivated and organized
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
