The e-Commerce Specialist provides day-to-day support for ShopBeer&Spirits, our B2B e-Commerce platform. This support includes digital asset management, content gathering, and working across teams planning content that creates a customized digital experience for our retail customers. The e-Commerce Specialist is responsible for providing timely and accurate information to resolve business issues and provides a positive brand experience to our e-Commerce partners. This role is part of the Customer Growth Strategy team.

Supports the development, deployment and optimization of digital merchandising assets specific for our ShopBeer&Spirits customers to drive customer engagement and elevate customer satisfaction.

Supports the development, deployment and optimization of digital merchandising assets specific for our ShopBeer&Spirits customers to drive customer engagement and elevate customer satisfaction.
- Maintains marketing copy, marketing banners, product images, videos and other assets to drive customer engagement.
- Ensures all products are launched with accurate, appropriate product content.
- Maintains digital/ShopBeer&Spirits product collateral, internal & external communications, and marketing materials.
- Maintains digital product copy, descriptions, bullet points, images, video, infographics, and other technical documentation in support of the ShopBeer&Spirits digital platform and optimizing the customer’s experience.
- Collaborates as needed to solve problems, create solutions and track uploaded content.
- Works with the Customer Solutions Team, Information Technology, and Marketing Communications team as needed to produce external communications.
- Works with third party vendors as required.
- Collaborates with the Brand Team to agree on impactful and reasonable content standards and requirements.
- Collaborates as needed with Brand Team and Shopper First Planning team for new product launches; ensures execution of plans and reports out metrics.
- Creates performance and other reports to track established success metrics for performance.
- Collaborates with leadership to develop meaningful data metrics and analysis to understand issues and uncover important trends and patterns.
- Performs analysis to stay abreast of trends in the marketplace to ensure strategic competitive position, understanding customer and business needs.
- Monitors third party eCommerce content strategies; reports and makes recommendations on new best practices to leadership.
- Keeps abreast of developing industry trends.
- Participates in sprint planning and other agile meetings.
- Supports platform technology, new feature implementations, enhancements, updates and other technology-based projects as required.
- Partners with Information Technology, ShopBeer&Spirits business team and third-party vendor on the coordinated testing and release of new features.
- Understands the end-to-end flow of products and site functionality to assist in making recommended enhancements that are customer focused.
- Engages with multiple business stakeholders to ensure clear and concise documentation of planned digital features.
- Develops and conducts team training as needed in collaboration with the Information Technology, Learning and Development, Sales and Customer Growth Strategies teams.
Here's what you must have to be considered for this role...
- One to Three Years Previous e-Commerce, Web Development, Site-Merchandising, Category Management and/or Digital Experience
- Detail-Oriented with Strong Organizational, Time Management and Project Management Skills; Ability to Handle Overlapping/Conflicting Priorities
- Strong Internet-based and/or Social Media Skills Combined With a Professional Level Understanding of MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Relationship Building and Communication Skills; Strong Customer Service Focused Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Sales or Other Related Field
- Strong Understanding and Ability to Use Google Analytics
- Strong Understanding of the Beer/Beverage Industry
- Previous Project Management Experience
