STEWARD:
With a focus on supporting the kitchen and ensuring cleanliness and organization.
Role Responsibilities:
- Prepare and load tableware for washing, including scraping plates and soaking silverware.
- Operate dish-washing machines, ensuring proper settings for temperatures and detergent levels.
- Wash dishes and store them in appropriate kitchen areas.
- Clean dish-washing equipment, floors, walls, and ceiling tiles.
- Handle and sanitize cooking equipment, including the removal and replacement of fryer oil.
- Remove garbage and refuse from the kitchen area.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift (up to 50 lbs), and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work in environments with dust, noise, and bright lights.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication skills, able to work with a diverse team and interact effectively.
- Must be fluent in English (read, write, speak, and understand).
Education & Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum age of 16 years.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed.
- Must maintain a professional and well-groomed appearance.
