Imaginative Beginnings is a fast-growing child development center offering child care and early education to students from 6 weeks to 12 years old. We are currently seeking a highly qualified Child Care Program Administrator to join our team and oversee our thriving child care center. As the administrator, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children and ensuring the success of our program. Job Information:

Position - Full Time

Duration - Year round, Monday - Friday

Pay type - Hourly

Pay frequency - Biweekly

Travel required- no


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the child care program, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations and maintaining the highest standards of care.
  • Oversee the proper implementation of curriculum and activities that promote children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor child care staff to create a motivated and professional team.
  • Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians, maintaining open communication to address their concerns and provide updates on their child's progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to enrollment, attendance, and other administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategic plans for program growth and improvement.

Basic Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an ECE program leader or in a managerial role within a child care setting.
  • Budget and financial accountability with revenue generation experience
  • Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Step-Up-To-Quality and state licensing knowledge
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage a team and create a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Must clear criminal background check without exemption
  • Complies with all state-specific education and licensing standards, and maintains validation of credentials for the position (i.e. professional development)


Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree or Higher in ECE or related field
  • 3 years experience as an ECE program leader or in a managerial role within a child care setting
  • Strong Knowledge of STAR rating requirements
  • Experience with NAEYC accreditation
