Position Summary:
As a Floater, you’ll play a key role in supporting our staff and creating a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment for our students—from toddlers to kindergarteners. Every day will be a little different, offering variety and the chance to work with multiple age groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide coverage in various classrooms when teachers are out or on break
- Supervise and engage with children in a calm, respectful, and developmentally appropriate way
- Assist with classroom activities, transitions, and routines as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the center, including sanitizing surfaces and materials
- Support daily operations by completing tasks like prepping activities, restocking supplies, or running errands within the school
- Be a flexible team player, ready to jump in wherever help is needed Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Passion for working with children
- Reliable, adaptable, and ready to take initiative
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and be on your feet throughout the day
- Prior experience in a childcare or classroom setting is a plus—but not required!
