What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Handyman position at Angie's Stays?
Looking for a handyman who can assist with minor punch-list items including assembling, painting, breaking down furniture, drilling into walls. Ideally looking for someone who can be on call to assist with our short term rental properties. Small jobs handyman is all we would prefer - if you only do big jobs, we aren't a good fit for you yet.
A little about us: Angie's Stays is the top short term housing provider in Chico, CA. We specialize in providing hospitable stays for our short term guests.
Responsibilities
- Organize & complete assigned project in a timely and effective manner
- Be good with understanding the tool that goes for the job
- Would ideally like you to be able to handle theses tasks. All or not required but the more, a plus: assemble furniture, break down furniture, painting, masking, fix a broken toilet, repair a broken cabinet or chair or bedframe, having a truck is a plus
Skills
- Proven experience as handyman
- Experience with hardware tools and electrical
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems a plus but not required
- Basic math skills
- Good communication ability
- Well-organized and apt in problem-solving
- Attention to detail

- On call
- Weekends as needed
