Animal Assistance League of Orange County is OC's oldest non-profit, no-kill shelter for dogs, cats, and bunnies! AALOC cares for rescued animals and helps our community with pet needs and emergencies. We are currently searching for a kennel attendant to become a part of our team!
Position: Kennel Attendant. Full time or willing to hire a couple part time employees. Day-time hours 7am-3:30pm
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 months experience working with animals in a kennel or veterinary environment (required)
- Ability to pass a drug test (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Responsibilities: Duties will include (but are not limited to) administering medication, feeding, cleaning dog/cat/rabbit areas, general cleaning and laundry.
About You: Individuals must be a team player, able to work weekends, have a calm and caring attitude, provide exceptional attention to our rescues and be a self-starter with a good work ethic.

Pay: Pay is dependent on level of responsibility. $18/hour is for kennel attendants who clean, feed, AND administer medications (previous experience preferred but possible to work up to this). $17/hour for kennel attendants who clean and feed only.
$1000 sign on bonus to be paid out at the end of one year for full time employees in good standing.

- Day shift
- Weekends as needed
