Animal Assistance League of Orange County is OC's oldest non-profit, no-kill shelter for dogs, cats, and bunnies! AALOC cares for rescued animals and helps our community with pet needs and emergencies. We are currently searching for a Kennel Supervisor to be a new member of our team.
Position: Kennel Supervisor (full-time)
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of veterinary / kennel attendant / or similiar animal care experience (required)
- Minimum 1 year of supervising experience, can be in any field (required)
- High school diploma/GED (preferred)
- Passing a drug test (required)
About you: Compassionate, Strong leadership, Good Communicator and Problem Solver, Attention to Details, Responsible, Flexible, Dependable Transporation.
Responsibilities:
- Running the day to day of the kennel
- Hands on care of animals
- Ordering inventory
- Staff scheduling
- Supervising kennel attendants
- Assisting community with needs
- Transporting animals to vet
