What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media Coordinator position at Animal Medical & Surgical Hospital?
Animal Medical & Surgical Hospital is seeking a Part-Time Social Media Coordinator to help build and maintain our online presence.
Our ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, creative, and passionate about capturing the essence of our practice and sharing it with our community. This role involves working across two locations and generating content for our social media platforms as well as in house marketing and promotions!
Compensation:
$14 - $16/hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
- Part-time position averaging 20-25 hours per week, between Mon-Sat.
- In-person position.
- Must be willing to work both mornings and/or afternoons as needed based on content opportunities, with flexible start and end times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture and create engaging social media content, including photos, videos, and posts.
- Manage and update our social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
- Collaborate with our staff to gather content, showcasing our team, services, and unique pet care.
- Create and execute marketing campaigns to enhance our online visibility.
- Ensure that all content reflects our laid-back, family-oriented, and professional culture.
Qualifications:
- Experience with content creation and social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
- Photography experience (smartphone or professional camera).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for animals and our mission of high-quality pet care.
