The MHSS Supervisor is responsible for working alongside the Mental Health Stabilization Service Team Lead and Care Coordinators to provide an 8-week stabilization service to children, adolescents and their families who require more intensive intervention in order to promote family preservation, and/or to stabilize the child’s placement and return to previously established levels as soon as possible.
The position provides the direct supervision of the MHSS Team Lead and Care Coordinators. Works collaboratively with the CRS teams and the Department of Social Services. MHSS services include crisis intervention, stabilization visits, client advocacy, crisis prevention and incident diffusion, and client stabilization.

Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology.
- LCSW-C or LCPC license required.
- Minimum of two years related experience in substance use disorders.
- Extensive knowledge of public and private mental health providers and community resources.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
- Ability to maintain effective and professional relationships with clients and others.
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Salary $76,595.47 - $86,208.88 depending on experience, education, and credentials.
Benefits include: 10 days paid vacation and 5 days paid sick leave the first year (both vacation and sick leave can be accrued indefinitely); Agency contributions to individual staffs’ 403b account paid twice per year (following 6 months’ employment) at a percentage rate approved by the Board of Directors; 12 paid holidays per year; health, vision and dental benefits (Agency pays 80% of the premium); long term disability and AD&D insurance; reimbursement for licensure; continuing education assistance; use of company vehicle for business purposes; free parking. Benefits are subject to change based on the annual budget and board of directors approval.
