About the Role: The COO will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization by providing strategic leadership, operational oversight, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care and services. Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, financial performance, and the overall success of our communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to regional and community-level teams to ensure operational excellence across all locations.
- Drive the implementation of strategic initiatives that enhance resident satisfaction, employee engagement, and financial performance.
- Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring accountability for financial targets.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in care delivery and community management.
- Collaborate with the executive team to identify growth opportunities, including acquisitions, partnerships, and new service offerings.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of executive leadership in senior living, healthcare, or a related service industry.
- Extensive experience managing multi-site operations, preferably with portfolios of 100 locations.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and drive profitability.
- Deep understanding of multi-state compliance and regulations, with a preferred emphasis on North Carolina assisted living/memory care (AL/MC) compliance under Adult Care Home Licensure.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a focus on team building and employee development.
