About the role : Our team is looking for an Expediting Officer to ensure the time and quality in delivery of goods and documents. This role will be responsible for monitoring progress of supplies, manage requests for deliveries, and monitoring compliance with contractual terms and inspection documentation.
About you :
- Understanding of process and procedures to monitor goods supply progress, with focus on production process lead time and supply delivery dates.
- Knowledge of goods manufacturing and fabrication processes.
- Knowledge of goods supply chain cycle phases including raw materials, quality control, NDE and welding techniques.
- Capability to manage inspections and testing activities.
- Knowledge of supply chain process with ability to focus on project objectives and purchase order requirements.
- Knowledge of master planning of shipping, transport and material packing.
About the role :
Work may involve both office and field-based tasks, including on-site troubleshooting, inspections and overseeing installations.
All candidates must be local to Houston, TX and have valid US Work Authorization.
