Job Title: Substance Abuse Counselor
Location: Another Way, Inc., Takoma Park, Maryland
Certifications Required: ADT, CAC-AD, or CSC-AD
Another Way, Inc. is an Opioid Treatment Program seeking a dedicated and compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team. Our clinic is committed to providing high-quality care and support to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. As a Substance Abuse Counselor, you will play a critical role in helping our patients achieve long-term recovery and wellness.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for each patient
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to patients
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications:
- Certification as an ADT, CAC-AD, or CSC-AD
- Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills

Hours of Operation: 5:15am-1:30pm Monday through Friday
