Teacher needed for group music classes several weekday afternoons for elementary aged students after school.
This is an enrichment class that meets right after school.
The Anselmo Academy of Music and the Arts is a non-profit organization that hires teachers for music and acting sessions taught in schools, community centers, and private homes.
An upbeat personality and reliable transportation are a must!

Summary
As a Music Teacher for Anselmo Academy of Music and the Arts, you will inspire and educate students in the art of performance and theater. Reporting to the New Jersey Manager, your role is to cultivate creativity and confidence in young performers through engaging lessons and hands-on activities. You will utilize your core skills in music or teacher and teaching to bring the arts to life . Your relevant experience in theater or music will enhance the program, fostering a love for the performing arts in all participants. Join us in shaping the next generation of artists!
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging theater curriculum for after-school students.
- Facilitate rehearsals and performances, ensuring students understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Foster a supportive and creative environment that encourages student participation and expression.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to integrate theater arts into the overall educational experience.
- Organize and oversee theater-related events and showcases to promote student achievements.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 per week
