AV Technician, Creation Musuem
The AV Technician at Answers in Genesis provides audio and visual technology service and support for Answers in Genesis, the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter. The AV technician is responsible for audio, lighting and video presentation for live events, technical support, exhibit AV support, operation, and maintenance of all AV technology throughout all Answers in Genesis facilities. This position will allow one to impact others through a service mindset centered on making an eternal difference. Prioritize personal integrity in all interactions and assignments
Support daily Ark/Museum operations. This includes but is not limited to: exhibit AV, event audio, video and lighting, conference room AV support.
Live Audio, IMAG Switching, Lighting Operation and programing.
Ensure equipment maintenance is performed properly and timely.
Works closely with the AV Manager for purchasing daily consumables.
And all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements
Must agree with and be able to sign our Statement of Faith.
Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Regular attendance at a local Bible-believing church.
A flexible schedule is a must as the AV Technician need to be available for before and after normal hours AV support
Must be able to work weekends
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and able to climb ladders
Must be a self-starter and be able to see jobs through to completion
Must have a servants heart
Education & Experience
A minimum of 2 years of facility Audio/Visual installation & maintenance experience a plus
A Minimum of 2 years of live sound and lighting support a plus
Touring/Concert Audio and lighting experience a plus
Experience with Alcorn McBride, Crestron, and Christie Digital Projectors preferred
Experience with Q-sys and Dante Digital Audio a plus
Experience with ETC EOS Lighting control
Experience with Green-Hippo media servers and ProPresenter a plus
Experience with Yamaha audio consoles and Shure wireless systems a plus
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Some experience with servers and networking is a plus
Any formal AV related training or degree is a benefit
