Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the dietary department, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and dietary needs.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to determine appropriate dietary interventions for residents.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive health coaching and support for residents.
- Oversee budgeting for the dietary department, ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining quality service.
- Train and supervise dietary staff, fostering a team-oriented environment focused on resident care.
- Monitor food preparation and service to ensure adherence to nutritional guidelines and resident preferences.
- Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, dietary plans, and departmental activities.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Dietary Manager or equivalent in Dietetics is required.
- Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
