Job Type: Full-time
Rate: $93,000-$115,500/year
Location: Office in Hagerstown, MD
Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee and manage the construction of fiber-optic networks, ensuring projects meet design specifications, timelines, and budgets.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, costs, and changes.
- Prepare and submit regular project reports to management.
- Manage permits, inspections, and other regulatory documentation.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Monitor job sites for compliance with safety standards and protocols.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Antietam Broadband and contractors, suppliers, and local authorities.
- Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, challenges, and solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to review designs and address any discrepancies.
- Provide leadership and direction to field teams, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Ensure team adherence to company standards, policies, and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and enforce quality control.
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and external vendors to ensure smooth execution of projects.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets while tracking progress and performance.
You will need to have:
- Experience with utility coordination and right-of-way management.
- Certification in construction management (e.g., PMP, CCM) is a plus.
- OSHA certification or similar safety training.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, telecommunications, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on telecommunications and fiber-optic projects.
- Strong knowledge of fiber-optic network construction, including aerial and underground installations.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with local regulations and permitting processes in Maryland and Virginia.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project needs.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the project area.
