IT Business Relationship Manager

Location:  Hybrid work model (3 days per week on-site in Sacramento, 2 days per week remote)
Position Type: Leased Employee
Duration: Six months 

Mandatory Requirements:

• Ability to clearly articulate IT concepts to non-technical stakeholders and effectively listen to and understand business needs.
• Understanding of business operations, industry trends, and strategic planning to align IT initiatives with business goals and drive value.
• A solid foundation in IT infrastructure, systems, and emerging technologies to facilitate informed discussions and decision-making regarding technology solutions.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical skills to identify challenges, propose effective solutions, and drive continuous improvement in IT-business processes and outcomes.
• Minimum 5 years experience.

Technical Requirements:

• Knowledge of network, server, and database systems to effectively discuss and evaluate IT solutions with technical teams.
• Experience with frameworks like ITIL to understand service delivery, incident management, and continuous improvement processes.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and their integration within an organization to understand how business processes are supported by technology.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with strategic portfolio management and current trends in technology.
• Experience in bringing together consensus between departments around multiple objectives for technology solutions.
• Experience with resource constraints and determining critical paths for strategic technology decisions.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery cycles for Technology.
• Knowledge in utility industry and the systems supporting utilities.
