What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Executive, Aircraft Finance position at AOPA?
Summary:
The ideal candidate will be a sales-oriented team player with excellent people, phone, and multi-tasking skills. Candidate must have account management experience to manage high volume deal flow. A strong interest in finance and General Aviation is essential. This position reports to the Director of Credit and Sales of the AOPA Aviation Finance Company.
You will liaise between members, analysts, loan processors, and lenders to ensure the timely and successful closing of aircraft loans.
Responsibilities:
Operates as the lead point of contact for any, and all matters specific to your assigned loans
Consults with AOPA members about their current and future aircraft needs
Establishes an ongoing relationship with our members through the delivery of exceptional customer service
Assists members through the loan process from application to closing by clarifying issues, researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions, implementing solutions, and escalating unresolved problems
Sells additional services by recognizing opportunities to up-sell members
Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
Meet performance numbers and track key account metrics
Desired Skills & Experience:
BS in Finance, Business, or Related Field preferred.
Pilot certificate and/or experience in aviation strongly preferred.
Two years of account management, sales, or lending experience preferred.
Must be organized, self-starter, self-motivated, detail oriented and have effective interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with SalesForce or comparable CRM, Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet.
Hours will extend beyond a normal workweek.
