What are the responsibilities and job description for the Permit Specialist position at APC Roofing,LLC?
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Roofing Permit Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with our production department to forecast, schedule, and coordinate roofing projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and Managing roofing permits and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Scheduling all necessary inspections required by each municipality.
- Assist with coordinating project schedules, including material deliveries and crew availability (as needed).
- Communicating with office staff and updating company CRM to ensure smooth project execution.
- Implement proper permit tracking procedures and update accordingly.
- Assisting with administrative tasks related to roofing projects.
- Updating our Contractor's license within all current municipalities and registering us in new ones accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with roofing permits is A MUST.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
