Call Center Representative:
Full Time
$16-$18 Hourly

Apex Call Center Representatives are responsible for answering incoming phone calls, collecting patient information, scheduling appointments, and keeping records. The ideal candidate can work as a team member, is well-organized with attention to detail, and is personable. This is a full-time hourly position located at our Cuyahoga Falls location. This is a in office position.

Qualifications*

• Strong Customer Service Skills
• Experience with Medical scheduling software preferred
• Experience working in a Call Center preferred
• One year’s experience in medical insurance coding or record-keeping preferred

Essential Functions*

• Complete and accurate appointment scheduling, pre-registration, eligibility screening, insurance verification, pre-authorization, and taking payments
• Obtain, record, and update PHI and financial information accurately.
• Verify insurance using Optum/Availity/EMR IE verification process.
• May be required to travel to other locations due to staffing needs.
• Receive inbound phone calls for clinic appointments from patients
• Transmit correspondence or medical records appropriately

• Required to lift moderate weights (10-15 pounds)
• Vision abilities including distance vision, and the ability to adjust and focus.

• CC and phone will be supplied by the company for use during employment
• Must have high-speed Wi-Fi or wired ethernet connection.
• Designated workspace that is quiet and distraction-free during your work shift
