APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Elkhart, IN looking to add an Accounts Receivable Clerk to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to manage and maintain the company's incoming payments, ensuring that customer accounts are properly credited, and that the company receives timely payments for goods or services provided. Sounds pretty great right?

What your day will look like:
- Reach out to banks, dealers, and/or transport companies.
- Work to recover outstanding debts.
- Prepare and send invoices to customers.
- Handle incoming payments via various methods (checks, credit cards, etc.).
- Ensure payments are correctly applied to customer accounts.
- Contact customers about overdue payments and arrange payment plans if needed.
- Keep accurate records of transactions and payments.
- Create reports on the status of outstanding accounts.
- Address billing issues or payment discrepancies.
- Answer questions from customers about their accounts or invoices.
What we are looking for:
- 1 year of experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of accounting and collections experience
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
