Job Title: Controls Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Supporting and transitioning between multiple mid to large-sized projects.
- Checking cables and wiring in the field.
- Performing and assisting in site walk-downs (some travel required).
- Preparing cost estimates.
- Supporting start-up activities.
- Preparing layouts and conceptual designs.
Qualifications:
- A four-year degree, two-year technical certification, and/or an associate's degree in electronics preferred, or equivalent experience (0-10 years in a related field).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency in computer-based platforms.
- Solid electrical knowledge.
- Configuration and graphic skills in one or more platforms: Ovation, Foxboro, ABB, or PLC.
- Experience with field support.
- Experience with control narrative and markup.
- Experience with checking cables and wiring in the field.
- Experience with cost estimating in sub-disciplines.
- Experience developing IO lists.
- Ability to build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff, and vendors.
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.
- Availability to work extended hours as needed.
