Deskside Support Technician
Apex Systems is hiring for a Deskside Support Technician in State College, PA!

Location: 100% On-site in State College, PA
Scheduled: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Contract Duration: 3-6 month contract-to-permanent-hire opportunity
Pay Rate: $21.00-$23.00/hour
Requirements:
3 years of professional IT experience
Deskside IT Support experience in a manufacturing environment, customer service, and troubleshooting Dell & Mac laptops and iOS & Android mobile phones.
CompTIA A certification is a plus (but not required)
Responsibilities:
Maintains, analyzes, and troubleshoots, computer systems (Windows 10 and MacOS), and computer peripherals.
Mobile phone support (iPhone and Android).
Documents, maintains, upgrades, or replaces software systems and hardware.
Imaging, configuration, and wiping of computers.
Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
Hands and feet assistance on network connection issues; tracking network connections back to network switches.
Escalates problems and issues to a higher level of support if unable to resolve.
Represents the client in a professional and businesslike manner, and communicates effectively with customers and associates.
High amount of interaction with customers, responding to routine technical questions or requests for information.
