Job Description:
- Deskside Support Tech I Role.
- M-F 8AM-5PM.
- Work site: State College, PA 16801.
TOP 3 REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Deskside IT Support experience in a manufacturing environment, customer service, and troubleshooting Dell & Mac laptops and iOS & Android mobile phones.
- YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 3 years minimum required, with most of that being in a manufacturing environment.
- CERTIFICATIONS: A certification is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains, analyzes, and troubleshoots, computer systems (Windows 10 and MacOS), and computer peripherals.
- Mobile phone support (iPhone and Android). Documents, maintains, upgrades, or replaces software systems and hardware.
- Imaging, configuration, and wiping of computers.
- Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
- Hands and feet assistance on network connection issues; tracking network connections back to network switches.
- Escalates problems and issues to a higher level of support if unable to resolve.
- Represents Compucom in a professional and businesslike manner and communicates effectively with customers and associates.
- High amount of interaction with customers, responding to routine technical questions or requests for information.
