Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to provide technical assistance and support to our organization's users. The ideal candidate will have a strong IT support background and be proficient in software troubleshooting and technical support.
Responsibilities
- Provide desktop support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues
- Utilize Remedy or similar ticketing system to track and prioritize user requests
- Communicate effectively with users to understand and address technical problems
- Troubleshoot software applications, operating systems, and computer management tools
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktop hardware and software
- Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory
- Analyze technical issues to identify root causes and implement solutions
Skills
- Proficient in IT support principles and practices
- Experience with software troubleshooting and technical support
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Familiarity with computer management tools
- Ability to work with Active Directory for user account management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
