VICE PRESIDENT - EQUIPMENT OPERATIONS

JOB SUMMARY
As the Vice President of Equipment Operations, you will play a pivotal role in leading our Process Division, which provides a wide variety of goods and services for our customers. This role provides leadership and oversight of our engineering, project management, production and customer relations activities.
JOB DUTIES
- Work with our QEHS department to keep our people safe and ensure the Company complies with all environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements in the water treatment and manufacturing sector
- Lead efforts in the development of the department's long-term strategic plans and objectives in support of the Company's overall strategic plan and objectives
- Work across divisions and across departments to optimize our business processes to reduce inefficiencies as well as reduce friction for our customers and employees
- Manage, mentor, and inspire teams of employees in engineering, project management, production, and customer relations to achieve operational excellence
- Ensure adherence to quality control measures so that our products meet the highest industry standards and customer requirements
- Departmental P&L responsibility to include annual budgeting
- Identify potential risks in the Company's processes and implement mitigation strategies to maintain continuity of operations
- Provide regular progress reports to the Executive Team and Board of Directors, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies and lead efforts to introduce innovative practices and technologies into our processes
- Perform other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree
- Fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in manufacturing or production processes
- Five (5) years of experience managing production, engineering, and project teams and leaders, with a proven track record of successful leadership
- Strong knowledge of highly-engineered custom systems, fabrication, industrial processes, and quality control
- Ability to think strategically and set and achieve ambitious goals to foster a culture of excellence and accountability
- Track record of strict adherence to quality standards and hitting timelines within a production or manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- An unwavering commitment to customer care, ensuring that every project not only meets but exceeds customer expectations
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities with a track record of continuously pushing for better ways to design, manufacture, execute projects, improve efficiency and meet customer needs
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong computer skills
- Experience in financial management, budgeting, and cost optimization to ensure that the financial performance of the Process Division aligns with business goals and drives profitable growth
- ERP experience
- In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the fabrication and industrial water treatment industries
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
- Extensive experience in the water treatment industry, particularly in equipment manufacturing and project delivery for OEMs
- Lean Six Sigma Certifications (Green Belt or Black Belt) for driving process improvement and operational excellence
- Certified Water Technologist (CWT) certifications
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other quality management systems
- Proficiency in using ERP systems (Acumatica, SAP, Oracle, etc.) for managing operations activities
