Director of Product Development- Business Development

We are seeking a local candidate for this role! This position offers a flexible, hybrid schedule with availability to work from home on Monday and Friday.

A Director of Product Development is a position responsible for leading the growth of APMEX’s OneGold subsidiary, APMEX’s Citadel subsidiary, Bullion International Group’s Bullion.com subsidiary and new business initiatives as needed. The position will manage a team of individuals and will be responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day businesses runs efficiently by working and partnering with various shared services. The Director of Product Development will also identify areas to grow and improve the business, including but not limited to growing the assets under management, launching new initiatives, streamlining processes and improving the customer experience. The Director of Product Development will communicate effectively both verbally and in writing when necessary.

The day in the life of a Director of Product Development...

• The ability to listen and communicate over the telephone and in person as well as the ability to identify key issues from the position of customers, vendors and stakeholders.
• The ability to think strategically and identify opportunities to improve the businesses.
• Collaborate effectively with other internal departments and external vendors to answer questions or solve issues efficiently and satisfactorily.
• Be able to navigate different applications and software to research and notate customer information and accounts.
• A Director of Product Development will create, manage and evolve product roadmaps for all brands under management.
• Pursue OneGold growth opportunities, including but not limited to, enhancing the mobile app and web experience, launching new locations, offering foreign currencies, growing internationally, growing IRA business and leaning into the ETF market to attract new customers.
• Monitor trends in the competition and the precious metals space to track OneGold’s performance and identify opportunities.
• Pursue Citadel growth and marketing opportunities to increase Citadel AUM which may include integrating Citadel with OneGold.
• Lead and launch APMEX new product initiatives as identified or directed.
• Provide coaching and development for team members.
• Read and understand any materials provided by the Company.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred

Experience:

10 or more years of professional related experience

Computer Skills:

Strong skills in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Other Requirements:

• Working knowledge of financial products (insurance, securities, mortgages, etc.), preferably investments.
• Interest in and knowledge of precious metals.

Salary : $120,000 - $135,000
