Customer Service Representatives hold a key role in the growth and exceptional nature of Appalachian Vet. Customer Service Representatives are the very first impression our clients get, so it’s imperative to make them feel welcome, comfortable and provide them the highest level of care and compassion. This position is a challenging and rewarding position, allowing the team member to be the first response someone hears when calling our company.
Duties & Responsibilities (include but not limited to)
- Welcome all visitors cheerfully with a smile on your face
- Answer phone calls, which predominantly involve screening/answering questions, scheduling appointments, taking medication refill orders and processing payments.
- Develop a thorough understanding of our practice geography and doctor specialties to support effective and efficient scheduling of farm calls
- Grow your medical knowledge-base across several animal species to successfully triage and manage multiple incoming calls at a time
- Communicate information clearly and neatly in both verbal and written formats
- Accurately fulfill pharmacy orders for client pick-up

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
