We are a successful, growing Custom Cabinets Company looking for an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team and help us reach potential buyers beyond homeowners and individual customers. Responsibilities:
The position will primarily focus on pursuing potential buyers such as interior designers, architects, builders, developers, and realtors in Palm Beach County. It will require cold calls, cold emails, and cold visits. Other responsibilities include inside sales, take-offs, estimates, customer service, promotions, problem resolution, special events, and related tasks.
To be successful in this position, the person will have to work independently, demonstrate determination, have competitive drive, and be eager to learn all facets of our company. They must also have a strong desire to provide exceptional customer service and sell. They must also possess the drive to immediately impact a growing company.
- Develop in-depth knowledge and expertise about all Appenin Cabinets Boca Raton products/services and procedures.
- Develop the territory by identifying potential customers and presenting our company, products, and services.
- Make and receive calls to/from potential customers and make cold and arranged visits to them.
- Set up and maintained displays and merchandising samples in customers' offices or brought specific samples per customers' needs and requests.
- Receive customers and/or their clients in our showrooms for product selection.
- Visit job sites to analyze what needs to be done, understand from the customer what is required, identify all potential issues,
- Answer customers' questions on products and distribution and provide solutions/recommendations by having a strong understanding of Appenin Cabinets Boca Raton ' top-selling and basic product lines (as well as standard industry products and brands);
- Respond to the marketplace by providing value through being a knowledgeable rep with quick follow-up;
- Attend to network meetings, be on time to work and all other appointments;
- Maintain a positive and productive attitude and motivation;
- Feed our CRM daily with calls, visits, and updates – Relationship Management.
- Understand Appenin Cabinets Boca Raton departmental processes, including accounting, purchasing, installation, and customer service - Work independently yet cooperatively with the company and team's goals and directives;
- Contribute to all sales and company goals. Assist with miscellaneous projects and duties (catalog/sample mailings, brochures, warehouse, special event planning and execution, etc.) to support team members and grow our business;
- Adheres to all regulatory guidelines and company policy as it relates to safety and our guiding principles;
- Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods, assist in distribution operations, and squat, bend, kneel, and lift 5-50 lbs.
- Travel throughout assigned territories; Travel for sales visits, special events, and training (local/regional travel 5-25% of the time).
Education & Experience:
- 1-2 years of work experience (preferably in construction/cabinets/flooring and outside sales)
- Previous experience dealing with interior designers, contractors, builders, realtors, etc.
- Degree preferred (although additional industry experience may be considered instead of degree)
Requirements:
- Possess strong presentation, negotiation, communication, and closing skills.
- Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Must have personal integrity and steadfast commitment to customers
- Computer literate – MS Office & Apple Suites, CRM's, QuickBooks & Internet navigation
- Must be able to follow the company's process & procedures
- Clear Drug screenings, criminal background checks, and driver's license checks are required in the pre-employment process.
Benefits:
· Base salary plus commission – No cap to commission! Potential to make over $100K/year

Work Hours:
Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (schedule may change for network events)
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $700.00 - $1,000.00 per week
Compensation Package:
- Uncapped commission
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
