We are seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our team and help lead our substance use disorder (SUD) and mental health treatment programs.
Job Summary
The Clinical Supervisor will oversee both SUD and mental health services, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with state and federal regulations. This role involves supervising a small team of behavioral health clinicians, interns, and case managers who provide direct SUD and individual/family mental health treatment services to youth and adults. This position will require an individual who can maintain high level program integrity through training, mentorship, and quality assurance. In addition to supervision responsibilities, this position will also be required to see clients and provide therapy services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision to licensed and unlicensed behavioral health staff.
- Oversee and ensure effective delivery of both SUD and mental health treatment services, including assessments, individual and group therapy, and crisis intervention.
- Maintain compliance with Nevada state regulations and accreditation standards.
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to enhance service delivery.
- Facilitate training and professional development for clinical staff.
- Conduct case reviews and ensure documentation meets legal and ethical standards.
- Provide direct client care as needed, including SUD and mental health counseling and therapy.
- Collaborate with external agencies, referral sources, and community partners to enhance client care.
Qualifications
- Masters Degree Required.
- Be licensed in good standing by the Nevada State Board of Examiners (e.g., LMFT or LCPC)
- Certification in Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment and supervision required (e.g., LADC-S, CADC-S).
- Approved through the Nevada State Board of Examiners to supervise LMFT and/or LCPC interns.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in mental health or substance use treatment.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices for SUD and mental health treatment, including co-occurring disorders.
- Strong knowledge of program development and compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Minimum of 1-2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and documentation compliance.
- Experience in working with uninsured and underinsured clients.
