Description:
The Clinical Supervisor oversees mental and behavioral health services and assures that the services provided are clinically necessary and appropriate. The Clinical Supervisor provides leadership and supervision for clinical therapists that supports a positive work environment and adheres to the values of the agency.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 2-5 years' experience working in the mental health field as an LCSW or LMFT in a supervisory/management capacity.
Must have knowledge and experience with crisis intervention techniques.
Must have experience in supervising and training clinical therapists in assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
Must have experience with the development and implementation of policies, procedure and program components.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Clinical Director in the development, implementation and day to day operations of therapy services;
- Develop and implement policies, procedures and program components;
- Review and approve clinical therapists' documentation and assist in the development of appropriate clinical treatment goals and interventions for the patients in the program as needed;
- Meet individually with each clinical therapist weekly and during clinical staff meetings to provide clinical consultation, oversight and training;
- Evaluate and provide feedback to clinical therapists regarding job performance on a regular basis;
- Conduct psychosocial intake assessments and crisis/risk assessments and interventions with patients;
- Conduct treatment planning, care coordination and discharge planning with patients;
- Conduct documentation using electronic health records system;
- Participate in Intervention Treatment Team meetings, Interdisciplinary Treatment Team meetings and staff meetings;
- Interact and communicate effectively with therapists, case managers, psychiatrists, medical staff and administrative staff in order to provide effective and compassionate patient care.
