Architectural Drafter – Commercial & Residential Projects (On-Site in Agoura Hills, CA)
Are you an experienced Architectural Drafter with a passion for both commercial and residential architecture? A well-established firm is seeking a talented professional with AutoCAD and Revit expertise to join their dynamic team. This on-site role in Agoura Hills, CA, offers the opportunity to work on projects ranging from luxury celebrity mansions to large-scale commercial buildings.
Key Qualifications :
5 years of AutoCAD & Revit drafting experience
Proven background in commercial & residential architecture
Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction best practices
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, SketchUp, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and Photoshop
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and collaborate with consultants and clients
Responsibilities :
Support design projects through all phases, from Schematic Design to Construction Administration
Prepare technical drawings, reports, and documentation
Coordinate with interior, MEP, and structural teams during design phases
Conduct site visits, take measurements, and analyze gravity loads
Provide creative problem-solving solutions with consultants
Participate in client interactions, project management, and licensing mentorship
Requirements :
AutoCAD / Revit Drafting : 5 years of hands-on experience
Educational Background : Architectural degree (Associates, Bachelor’s, or Master’s) preferred
Experience in executing projects from design to construction administration
Ability to work independently and collaboratively on diverse projects
