What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher position at AppleOne?
We are hiring for Dispatchers.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Coordinate and schedule the dispatch of drivers, vehicles, and shipments to ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor and track the status of deliveries and shipments, providing updates to customers and management.
- Communicate with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers to address any issues or changes in delivery plans.
- Maintain accurate records including delivery logs, schedules, and work orders.
- Optimize routes and schedules to maximize efficiency and reduce transportation costs.
- Respond to emergency calls and dispatch appropriate resources promptly.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
