Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient care activities to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Implement and monitor nursing policies and procedures to maintain compliance with health regulations.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and oversee the administration of injections, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide guidance and support in areas such as behavioral health, pediatrics, ophthalmology, and medical imaging.
- Facilitate training sessions for nursing staff on best practices in infant care and venipuncture techniques.
- Maintain accurate patient records using eClinicalWorks and other relevant systems.
- Address any issues or concerns raised by patients or staff promptly and effectively.
Requirements
- Valid nursing license with proven experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health, geriatric health, cognative disabilities.
- Experience administering injections and performing venipuncture is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly Point Click Care.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining patient records and compliance documentation.
